Service to children in
Monroe County |
Rochester Community Program: 140 Matches: This program is the traditional model most people think of when they think of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Adults from the community are matched with children from the community and enjoy weekly activities of their own choosing.
Rochester City School District: 30 Matches: This program matches high school Bigs from Marshall with elementary school Littles from School 41 in weekly group activities directly supervised by a Big Brothers Big Sisters staff.
NEW: R.I.T. Student Program: 10 Matches (Growing Quickly!): This program matches RIT students with children from the community in easy-to-manage, two-hour group sessions twice a month. Each session is facilitated by Big Brothers Big Sisters staff giving students the ability to stay with the group or venture out onto campus for their own fun. (See fun on R.I.T. website)
