"The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership" provides a checklist of concepts that most experienced leaders will find familiar and will certainly appreciate. I found myself reflecting on each of the laws and on my own conduct and performance as a leader. That was very useful, and made the book worth the read. Plus, many of the real-life examples (Condoleezza Rice, Lance Armstrong, responses to Hurricane Katrina) are timely and very interesting.

The most invigorating law for me was number 20 - The Law of Explosive Growth. Members of the Century League will appreciate why. The Law of Explosive Growth says that quantum growth is had when you learn to lead, not only follower, but other leaders. They will in turn bring followers or even other leaders. The growth of your success becomes exponential.

The book also reaffirmed my strong belief that the key to great leadership is to truly care for people, and to genuinely desire seeing people achieve their greatest potential.
