Leadership is my passion. I believe that all good things rise and fall on leadership. At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we consciously create a culture of career ownership. We teach that leadership is not positional... it's dispositional. Every member of my team has the ability to significantly elevate the value of his or her career by leading our growth and excellence. I personally meet one-to-one with every member of my team each ninety days to discuss his or her strengths and plans for success. I expect my people to "Lead from the Middle" as taught in "The 360 Degree Leader."

Century League provides me an opportunity and obligation. My opportunity is to share the lessons I learn every day in my business with the incredible community leaders who dedicate themselves to "Making a Century of Mentoring Happen" through the Century League. My obligation is to never stop learning more about leadership so that I can bring our Century League leaders the highest value, most impact-producing information and insight I can.

The Leader Lunch Series is how I meet my opportunity and obligation. Every ninety days, I invite members of the Century League to attend a two hour lunch at the offices of Big Brothers Big Sisters. There, I introduce three leadership works I've read over the past few weeks. The best of the three is then discussed at length, with each attending member receiving their own copy of the book - courtesy of BBBS. (A great investment for us.)
