Since joing Big Brothers Big Sisters in 1999, Ms. Christensen has been instrumental in the growth and development school-based services; creating program policy, procedure and assisting with research studies on school based mentoring.

Fifteen school districts in four counties participate in BBBS school mentoring, reaching over six hundred youth annually.

Tina holds a degree in Social Work and has worked in the social service field for the past 14 years in both clinical and preventive services. She has previously worked in clinical support programs to families through AFDC, TANIF, and OCFS. Her work was primarily court mandated clientele through family court.
