"If you've looked into the face of a child, you understand the importance of our mission.
In my life, I have experienced the generosity of the people our United Eight Counties. Combined, I know that this great family of communities will compel us to reach our goal - to double. To provide 1000 great kids with a Big Brother or a Big Sister in 2007 - And double that by 2010"
Background: With a strong background in communications and planning, Jeff came to Big Brothers Big Sisters in September, 2004 after six years with Unisys Corporation where he was responsible for enhancing the quality and profitability of a $2 million dollar partnership with the NYS Office for Technology. Key to that partnership was support of the CONNECTIONS program - the Statewide child endangerment tracking mechanism.
In addition, for eight years Jeff and his wife, Lori, shared the role of live-in Residential Managers at Ronald McDonald House Charities. During that time, Jeff worked with the RMHC Board of Directors in projects including Strategic Planning and Internet Marketing Development.
Prior to Unisys, Jeff worked in Financial Services and earlier in his career was a Licensed Litigation Attorney for a general practice law firm in Albany. Jeff spent three years as a paratrooper in the United States Army, holds a Doctorate in Law from Union University, is a cum laude graduate of State University of New York at Geneseo, and the 1987 Outstanding Graduate of Genesee Community College.
